It has been my great honour to be one of the founding members of the Hong Kong Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund Awardees Association (the Association). I have the pleasure to work with and meet many other scholarship recipients of the Hong Kong Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund for the promotion of music and dance in Hong Kong.

I would like to take this opportunity to extend my deepest gratitude to Ms YIP Wing-sie, BBS, JP, our Association's first Chairperson, and all other Executive Committee Members who have devoted wholeheartedly to the setting up of the Association and the organising of various educational and community activities to promote music and dance education in Hong Kong. The Inaugural Performance held on 13 August 2016 was no doubt the most memorable event for all of us.

Thanks to the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust's donation, the Association will continue to provide a platform for our members to exchange views for the advancement of music and dance and to collaborate in contributing to the society. I look forward to joining hands with Members to achieve the objects of the Association.
