Pianist Helen CHA has given concerts in North America, Italy, Moldova, England and mainland China, and performed under the baton of YIP Wai-hong, YIP Wing-sie, Mikhail SECHKIN, Takuo YUASA, Neil VARON, Emil de COU and Patrick SOUILLOT, among others. She claimed top prizes at the 12th Hong Kong (Asia) Piano Open Competition Open Class, the concerto competitions at Piano Texas and at the Eastman School of Music, and Thousand Islands International Chopin Competition. A keen solo pianist and a chamber artist, she performed at various festivals, including ISCM World Music Days, Le French May, HKS ArtisTree Residency, and the Hong Kong International Chamber Music Festival.

Twice awarded scholarships by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund, she earned the Performer's Certificate and her Doctorate of Musical Arts with Professor Nelita TURE at Eastman School of Music. She was the presenter of RTHK 4 programmes "Chamber Fragrance", "Debussy Recollection" and "Non-Stop Classics", and is a regular juror of local and international piano competitions. She was a guest faculty at the Hong Kong International Piano Conference (2013-2015), and is currently the Music Director of Musica del Cuore and the Artist-In-Residence of Academia de Musica S. Pio X.
