Constanze Lee
Fortepianist
Constanze was awarded twice the prestigious scholarships from the Hong Kong Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund which enabled her to pursue her music studies in The Royal Conservatoire in the Netherlands from 2001 to 2004. She was awarded a Bachelor Degree and a Master degree of Music (with Distinction) as well as a Postgraduate Certificate in fortepiano and historical performance practice.
As an active soloist and chamber musician, she has been invited to perform in diverse music festivals in Europe. She is keen on doing research in history of music. Currently, His Majesty The King of The Netherlands has granted a permission for her to conduct research in the Dutch Royal Family archives.
She was the guest harpsichordist of the Hong Kong Sinfonietta. She was also an ensemble coach of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. She is now the director of Bauhinia Musik Haus Hong Kong. She is also an adjunct lecturer of Hong Kong Baptist University and she teaches fortepiano in the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
