Mentorship Programme 2016-2017

The Association organised the 'Mentorship Programme 2016-2017' in collaboration with the Department of Cultural and Creative Arts of The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) again. With an objective to enhancing artistic attainments and knowledge of the students, our awardees from different music and dance expertise joined as mentors to provide invaluable out-of-classroom learning opportunities and guidance to the students (mentees) through informal sharing and performance opportunities.

Orientation

The first key event of the second programme was held on 14 January 2017 (Saturday) at the EdUHK. Dr LUNG Heung-wing, and three scholarship awardees, SAN Yuen-yum, YIU Song-lam and Rachel CHEUNG, met with the 10 selected mentees from music performance, education and arts management studies and shared their music pursuits.

Other Meet-ups and Activities

The programme aims at providing valuable guidance and inspiration to young people with passion for music and arts education through various interactive activities. Other participating awardees included Timothy CHAN, Suky LO and Betty WONG.
