Brass Masterclass by PAW Man-hing, Hermann

Our Association has arranged for the trainees of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department Music Office a series of instrumental Masterclasses in September and October in 2019. Followed by the Clarinet Masterclass and Percussion Masterclass held in September 2019, the Brass Masterclass by Mr Hermann PAW was successfully held on 12 October 2019. Two Horn students from the Music Office received coaching from Mr PAW.

PAW Man-hing Hermann joined the Hong Kong Sinfonietta in 2013 as Principal Horn. He obtained his Bachelor of Music degree with First Class Honours from the HKAPA in 2011 under the tutelage of Joe Kirtley, and his Master's degree in Music from the Carnegie Mellon University under the Hong Kong Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund scholarship studying with William Caballero.
