LUK Wai-chun Vincent, the 2019-20 local music scholarship awardee, received the Best Young Composer’s Serious Composition award for his composition “Eager to Fly” at the 22nd CASH Golden Sail Music Awards organised by the Composers and Authors Society of Hong Kong Limited (CASH).

April 2024

Siu Lung Fung Dance Theater directed by Mr HUI Chun-kit, Cyrus, the 2006-07 non-local dance scholarship awardee, received the Outstanding Small Venue Production of the 25th Hong Kong Dance Awards for its dance production Run bestowed by Hong Kong Dance Alliance.

HO Ho-fei, the 2021-22 local dance scholarship awardee, received the Outstanding Performance by a Male Dancer of the 25th Hong Kong Dance Awards bestowed by Hong Kong Dance Alliance.

December 2022

CHAN Sin-ying Angela, the 2020-21 non-local music scholarship awardee, won the Third Prize at the Singapore International Violin Competition. She was also awarded two special prizes including Best Performance of Ysaÿe Prize and Best Performer of Commissioned Work Prize.

November 2022

Fiona Kizzie LEE, the 2016-17 non-local music scholarship awardee, won the First Prize in the Young Ensemble Competition at the London International Festival of Early Music. She has also been invited to perform at the Festival next year.

February 2022

James YAN, the 2020-21 non-local dance scholarship awardee, won the First Place (Classical Dance Solo) at the Tanzolymp Ballet Competition in Berlin (Germany).

Jacky LEUNG, the 2015-16 local music scholarship awardee, won a platinum medal and a gold medal in the Saxophone category, and a gold medal in the Composition category at the 2021 Quebec Music Competition.

LUK Wai-chun, the 2019-20 local music scholarship awardee, won the Gold Prize in Combination of Musical Instruments of the Same Category at 2021 "Dunhuang Award" for Chinese Chamber Music.

James YAN, the 2020-21 non-local dance scholarship awardee, won the First Place in Senior Division at the Prix du Nord 2021. He will be invited to perform at the Gala Performance of Prix du Nord next year.

Herman PONG, the 2018-19 local music scholarship awardee, won the Second Prize in the Saxophone - X Category at The North International Music Competition 2021.

Hannah TAM, the 2018-19 non-local music scholarship awardee, was awarded the Junior 3rd Prize and Junior Audience Prize at the Menuhin Competition Richmond 2021.

May 2021

Angel LAM, the 2001-02 non-local music scholarship awardee, received the Discovery Grant Award for Women Composers from OPERA America. It supports the creation of her new work, preparation of workshops as well as staged readings of the work to the public in New York. She will also receive mentorship from industry professionals on her new work development.

In addition to the award, she will be invited to attend OPERA America's annual Opera Conference.

Jacky LEUNG, the 2015-16 local music scholarship awardee, won the First Prize (Platinum Medalist) in the Pop Music category and Second Prize (Silver Medalist) in the Classical Music category at the 2020 – 2021 Canadian International Music Competition.

October 2020

Jacky LEUNG, the 2015-16 local music scholarship awardee, won the First Prize in Classical music category at 2020 International Music Competition Bonn "Grand Prize Virtuoso" in Germany. He was invited to perform in the winners' concert at the Beethoven House in Bonn (Germany).

LUK Wai-chun, the 2019-20 local music scholarship awardee, won both the TACETi Ensemble Call for Scores 2020 and Catchfire Collective 2020-2021 Call for Scores.

Hannah TAM, the 2018-19 non-local music scholarship awardee, received a commendation for her outstanding achievements in international arts and cultural activities.

Charles TAM, the 2019-20 non-local music scholarship awardee, won the Glass Seller Beethoven Piano Prize 2019.

October 2019

Jacky LEUNG, the 2015-16 local music scholarship awardee, won the 2nd Prize (Open Session for All Instruments, Concerto Competition) and 3rd Prize (Open Session, Category G Solo Wind Instrument) at the 20th Osaka International Music Competition.

August 2019

SHING Chun-hay, the 2018-19 local music scholarship awardee, won the Rapee Sagarik Composition Prize in the 15th Thailand International Composers Competition.

LEE Tsz-long, John won the the 1st Prize at "CLAMO Music International Piano Competition 2018" in Spain. WU Hiu-nam, Peggy was awarded the 2nd Prize and Audience Prize at "2018 Birmingham International Piano Competition" in the UK and CHENG Hiu-man, Phoebe received the 3rd Prize at "The 6th European Biennial Double Bass Congress & Orchestral Competition".
